Jordan of Mycocentrics will walk you through a beginners course where we will mainly learn about our local Louisiana medicinal and edible mushroom species, but we'll touch on a few other commonly known medicinal mushrooms as well. We'll explore how to find these mushrooms in nature and properly identify them, understand their properties and applications, and explore the impact they can have on our personal and community wellbeing. We'll also have some Cordyceps tea too for us to enjoy while we learn together!
