Off with her head!
Marie Antoinette was the last queen of France before the French Revolution of 1793. She ascended to the throne in 1774 with King Louis XVI and became queen and was known for her youth, beauty, and style. As the country was hurting in a fit of class disparity, Marie became increasingly unpopular amongst the people who accused her of being frivolous and promiscuous leading to her demise. Her trial proceeded swiftly and she was charged with depletion of the national treasury as well as marks of treason and guillotined for her sins.
